1. Data categories and origin of data
We collect and process personal data that we receive as part of our business relationship with our customers. Personal data can be processed at any stage of the business relationship and differ depending on the group of people.

To fulfill a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures as part of the provision of psychological services, which can be provided by balancd. The purposes of data processing depend primarily on the specific service.
To comply with legal obligations, in particular compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. compliance with the GDPR, the DSG, control and reporting obligations).

For the purpose of managing, maintaining and improving the website, to analyze your behavior on the website. 3. Access to personal data and length of storage
Both parties within and outside balancd can have access to your data. Within balancd, only agencies or employees may process your data if they need it to fulfill our contractual, legal and regulatory obligations and to protect legitimate interests. In compliance with the relevant legal provisions, other companies, service providers or vicarious agents may also receive personal data for these purposes. If the data is no longer required to fulfill contractual or legal obligations or to protect our legitimate interests (achievement of the purpose) or if consent given is withdrawn, it is regularly deleted, unless further processing is necessary due to contractual or legal retention periods and documentation obligations or for reasons of maintaining evidence during the period of the applicable statute of limitations. The storage period in accordance with TBD is generally ten years.

Right to information: You can request information from balancd as to whether and to what extent personal data about you is being processed (e.g. categories of personal data processed, purpose of processing, etc.).
