Selbstzweifel schleichen sich leise ein. Bin ich gut genug? Was, wenn ich versage? Fast alle kennen solche Gedanken. Besonders in der Jugend. Da passiert so viel – innerlich und außenrum. Neues ausprobieren, dazugehören, Erwartungen erfüllen. Kein Wunder, dass man manchmal an sich zweifelt. Aber Selbstsicherheit kann wachsen. Sie ist kein Geschenk, sondern etwas, das man trainieren kann. Mit kleinen Schritten. Und etwas Geduld. Es lohnt sich – versprochen.
Die innere Stimme beobachten
Selbstzweifel fangen oft im Kopf an. Diese leise Stimme, die sagt: „Das schaffst du nicht.“ Oder: „Du bist nicht gut genug.“ Wichtig ist diese Stimme zu erkennen, denn nur dann, kann man auch zurückschlagen. Es handelt sich bei diesen Gedanken um keine Tatsachen. Man darf diese Frage natürlich auch hinterfragen. Was würde man einem Freund sagen? Wahrscheinlich etwas viel Netteres. Genau so sollte man mit sich selbst reden. Ein positiver Satz pro Tag kann schon helfen. Zum Beispiel: „Ich gebe mein Bestes – und das reicht.“ Klingt klein, wirkt aber stark.
Erfolge bewusst machen
Selbstzweifel übersehen oft alles, was gut läuft. Deshalb sollte man seine Erfolge auch immer gut sichtbar machen. Egal, wie klein diese auch sind. Ein gutes Gespräch geführt? Eine Aufgabe geschafft? Mut gehabt, etwas zu sagen? Aufschreiben oder im Kopf feiern. So entsteht Schritt für Schritt ein neues Bild von sich selbst. Auch Fehler gehören dazu. Wer sie als Chance sieht, lernt daraus. Es geht nicht um Perfektion. Es geht darum, sich zu trauen – immer wieder. Und zu merken: Ich kann mehr, als ich denke.
Menschen suchen, die gut tun
Die richtige Umgebung macht sehr viel aus. Wer ständig kritisiert oder runterzieht, verstärkt die Selbstzweifel. Aus diesem Grund sollte man Menschen suchen, die ehrlich, aber freundlich sind. Die zuhören, Mut machen, nicht verurteilen. Gute Freunde stärken das Selbstbild. Auch Gespräche mit Vertrauenspersonen helfen. Oder Gruppen, in denen man sich verstanden fühlt. Niemand muss alles allein schaffen. Und manchmal sieht jemand anderes das Gute in dir – bevor du es selbst sehen kannst. Das ist okay und vor allem auch sehr wertvoll. Solltest du dich in einer Umgebung befinden, in welcher du dich nicht wohlfühlst, musst du da raus.
