Warum ADHS das Risiko für Depressionen erhöht
Menschen mit ADHS erleben viele Rückschläge. Vergesslichkeit, Unordnung oder Impulsivität führen oft zu Problemen im Alltag. Schnell kann das Selbstwertgefühl durch Kritik von anderen gesenkt werden. Menschen mit ADHS müssen täglich damit kämpfen, sich nicht gut genug zu fühlen. Viele fühlen sich auch einfach nur überfordert. Auf Dauer kann dies zu depressiven Gedanken führen. Auch Dopamin spielt eine Rolle. Bei ADHS ist der Dopaminhaushalt oft unausgeglichen. Dadurch kann die Motivation stark beeinflusst werden. Doch nicht nur das, es bringt auch Stimmungsschwankungen mit sich. Wichtig ist, dass es erkannt wird, erst dann kann man gezielt damit umgehen.
Ängste bei ADHS: Wenn Gedanken nicht zur Ruhe kommen
Viele Menschen mit ADHS sind ständig in Bewegung – nicht nur körperlich, sondern auch gedanklich. Das Gehirn springt von einem Thema zum nächsten. Das kann zu Grübeleien und Ängsten führen. Was habe ich falsch gemacht? Was, wenn etwas Schlimmes passiert? Dieses Kopfkino kann belastend sein. Ängste entstehen oft aus Unsicherheit. Wer immer wieder vergisst oder Fehler macht, verliert das Vertrauen in sich selbst. Strukturen und Routinen helfen, Ängste zu reduzieren. Auch Entspannungstechniken wie Meditation oder Atemübungen sind hilfreich.
Was hilft gegen Depressionen und Ängste?
Der erste Schritt ist, sich selbst zu verstehen. Es ist wichtig zu erkennen, dass ADHS die Gefühle beeinflusst. Niemand ist schuld an seinen Ängsten oder depressiven Phasen. Bewegung hilft, die Stimmung zu heben. Sport setzt Glückshormone frei und baut Stress ab. Auch soziale Kontakte sind wichtig. Gespräche mit vertrauten Menschen können entlasten. Wer merkt, dass die Belastung zu groß wird, sollte sich Hilfe holen. Therapie oder Coaching kann neue Perspektiven geben. Jeder Mensch verdient es, sich gut zu fühlen.
